Copper Paws Rescue, Inc., is named after my personal dog Copper. He was my first rescue at 19 years old and truly was my heart and soul dog. He unfortunately passed away unexpectedly due to cancer in 2023. With his help, we have helped rescue hundreds of dogs over the years and will continue to do so in his honor!

My husband and I run this rescue with the help of many dedicated friends and family. We have 3 little humans, 5 personal dogs and 5 personal cats. We also own a family dairy farm! Every foster dog here truly gets exposed to a wide variety of environments, we call it our own personal zoo!

Meet Brittany, the Founder of CPR:

“Hello everyone! I have volunteered and fostered in rescue for almost a decade. I have learned so much from the rescue organizations that I have been with, but it was finally time for me to start my own! I love all animals, but dogs, cats and cows are really my favorites. I feel its my calling in life to help those without a voice. I accomplish this by physically taking in animals in need, but also by educating the public on the importance of spaying and neutering and ethical breeding. Please join me in creating a better future for our animals!”

Our Mission & Values

Copper Paws Rescue, Inc. seeks to help local animals through fostering, adoption, education, necessary health services, and community outreach. We work with regional surrending homes to provide education, vaccinations, and spay and neuter services to all animals involved. We work to build a close community of those who value animals and treat them with the kindness they deserve.

Copper Paws Rescue, Inc seeks to find permanent adoptive families  for animals in the local central Wisconsin region, provide necessary veterinary services to impoverished families in central Wisconsin, and to connect with the community to work together to educate on responsible pet ownership.
