Happy Puppies & Happy Families

From Abby, Thomas, & Bruno

Things are going great. He recently learned to play with soccer balls which was a big thing because he started out being very scared of all toys. He also loves his stuffed duck, gator, and turtle. He has been visiting the dog park and gets along well with all the dogs. He settled in well with our cats too and listens (most of the time) when we tell him to leave them alone.

He also absolutely adores snow. Running in snow, rolling in snow and eating snow.

Bruno was initially very scared of people and while we are still working on it a bit, he went up to a man who wanted to pet him voluntarily and wagged his tail! We were so proud.

He is such a sweet natured dog, we are so happy with our experience with Copper Paws Rescue.

From Greg, Heidi, & Willow

Willow is doing great and celebrated her 1st Christmas in Oostburg with the entire family.  The little ones loved her and wouldn’t leave her side!

She is doing great, up in Crandon.  When Willow first arrived, we would walk her with a leash…just to get her used to the property.  Now, she has free roam and especially loves playing in the snow with the other dogs.

Thank you for your hard work with these beautiful animals.  You are a true blessing!  We will definitely adopt from Copper Paws again and we’re telling everyone we know about your well-run organization!

From Tonya & Shiloh

Copper paws rescue is amazing! I came across the site after a Friend told me about it. I lost my chihuahua on 8/15/24 I took it very hard. Friends and family said maybe I need a new companion. I put it on hold, then I finally looked at the dogs on copper paws page Mario and Luigi stopped me in my tracks I was done looking there was something about Luigi now named shiloh no idea what it was but knew I had to do whatever it took to adopt him, so I did. When I pulled up he was 1st to run to me almost like he knew who I was. My heart was happy again. 2 days of having him I've learned he sleeps in same spots as my chihuahua he loves to cuddle and play just like my chihuahua then on 4th day I was curious to know when he was exactly born. Which was 8/15/24 same day maxine my chihuahua took her walk over rainbow Bridge. Shiloh definitely rescued me, he's very spoiled, loves to play and boy can he run fast. Brittany is great to work with and answered all questions I had. He's now fully potty trained and jan. 8th he will be getting neutered at fix a pet. Shiloh loves to bark and howl to certain sounds he also loves watching TV and many fun car rides. He's now alittle over 4 months old and doing so great!

From Alli & Ruger

We adopted Ruger in the fall and are in love with him. He has adjusted so well into our family. Ruger is patient with children, gets along with other dogs, and is completely house trained. We most recently had him in training to get him to know basic commands and to be introduced to pheasant hunting. He’s a rockstar.

When we first adopted Ruger his older brother Charlie wasn’t the biggest fan of him. However, with time they are now best buddies. Our house can get a little loud when those two play with each other.

We would like to send a big thank you to Copper Paws Rescue. The adoption process went smoothly, communication was clear, and all of our questions were answered in a timely matter. Without the rescue and Ruger - our family wouldn’t be complete.

From Pickles & The Taylor Family

Life with our new family member “Pickles” has been a very smooth transition. She has been with us for about 3 weeks now. She knows her name, is starting to learn “sit” and has very few potty accidents. Her big sister Bella (14) has  adapted well to sharing her toys and bed. Adopting pickles from Copper Paws Rescue was super simple and once we visited to meet her, there was no turning back. Thanks for making our new additions a great one!

From Lainey & Tonya

Lainey has the sweetest personality. She’s come out of her shell and she’s such a good girl. Her and her sister Sadie have become the best of pals. They love to play tug of war with their toys and chase each other around the yard.

I’m so thankful for the new lease on life you have given her and so many dogs.

They all deserve a home of their own!
